A Gram-stain-negative bacterium, designated LG-2T, was isolated from sludge collected at a pesticide-manufacturing factory in Jiangsu Province, PR China. The Bacteroidota is one of the dominant bacterial phyla in corals. However, the exact taxa of those coral bacteria under the Bacteroidota are still unclear.
