Taxonomy

Description
The type material is the metagenome assembled genome ARMAN-2 (ACVJ00000000) recovered from from samples collected at Richmond Mine, Iron Mountain in northern California in 2005. The MAG consists of 1 Mbp in 8 contigs with an estimated completeness of 96.6% and 0.5% contamination, two 16S, one 23S, and one 5S genes, and 20 unique tRNAs. The GC content of this MAG is 47.27%. The organism is an acidophile.
