Description
The species is the type of the genus Ca. Solincola, within Ca. Geothermincolaceae. It has 3 rRNAs, 47 tRNAs and at least 2,500 protein-coding genes. The type material is derived from subsurface sediment in Rifle, Colorado, USA. It is predicted to be an anaerobic homoacetogen but has not been cultivated.
