Description
Species established on the basis of ANI comparisons to GTDB R226 and 16S rRNA classifications to Silva 138.2. Based on metabolic reconstruction, Borkimonas danica is inferred to encode the rod shape-determining protein MreB, peptidoglycan biosynthesis genes and flagellar genes.
