AbstractIn Argentina, amaranth is a promising crop due to high nutritional quality and ability to grow in a diversity of environments. In areas cultivated with amaranth, were observed plants exhibiting slow growth, deformed leaves, proliferation of shoots and malformed lateral panicles.
