Etymology. The name ‘parvus’ refers to the low abundance in which the species is present in the environment.
Brief description. The genome of A. parvus MZLE-22 (ENA accession number GCA_965268675) is relatively compact, with a complete genome size of 1,446,912 base pairs (bp). This species exhibits a CG content of 45%, which is typical of Nanopelagicales order. It possesses one rRNA operon and 42 tRNA genes. It is encountered throughout the year in the Římov reservoir in very low abundances, as well as in Žlutice Reservoir, Czech Republic.
