Taxonomy

Description
Species established on the basis of ANI comparisons to GTDB R226 and 16S rRNA classifications to Silva 138.2. Formerly "uncultured eubacterium WD260" in Silva 138.2. Based on metabolic reconstruction, Vinkelivivens adiacens is inferred to encode the rod shape-determining protein MreB and peptidoglycan biosynthesis genes.
