Taxonomy

Description
The MAG of Arenidesulfomonas baltica was reconstructed from sediment metagenomes from the Odra Bank in the Baltic Sea (salinity 5-8 psu). Metatranscriptomic analyses showed that Arenidesulfomonas baltica plays a crucial role in sulfate reduction in the sandy sediments at this location.
