Submitter comments
The organism represented by this MAG is the dominant organism in the geothermally heated soils at Tramway Ridge, Mt. Erebus. Metagenome data (SRR6519254) was assembled using SPAdes and coverage was determined across all four input SRA accessions. This MAG was binned using kmer+coverage in Metabat1 with the "sensitive" setting, which was determined to be the best according to dRep. CheckM1 and checkM2 were run on the MAG and the reported statistics are from checkM1. RNAs were identified and counted using PGAP through NCBI at the time of submission.
