Organic substrates include peptides, amino acids, carboxylates, poly- and oligosaccharides, sugars. PHA storage; glycogen storage. Polyphosphate storage. Also defined based on ANI, and phylogenies of 16S rRNA gene, 15 ribosomal proteins, and the GTDB.
