Type species is Pelagilacustribacter hypolimneticus TrH-25oct19-165 (GCA_965235125.1), a metagenome-assembled genome (MAG) obtained from 150m depth from Traunsee, Austria. Pelagilacustribacter is a genus within marine SAR11-II (Pelagibacterales) that is found in deep freshwater lakes.
