Metagenome-assembled genome sequence of Candidatus Loosdrechtia sp. KJ reconstructed from an alkaline anammox reactor

Citation
Chuang et al. (2025). Microbiology Resource Announcements 14 (12)
Names
“Loosdrechtia”
Abstract
ABSTRACT Candidatus Loosdrechtia sp. KJ is an anaerobic ammonium-oxidizing bacterium enriched from a bioreactor operated under alkaline conditions (pH 9.2 ± 0.4). We report its 3.39 Mb draft genome, containing 3,065 predicted coding sequences, 47 tRNA genes, and a single rrn operon.

Draft genome sequences of ‘ Candidatus Liberibacter solanacearum’ haplotype E isolated from carrot psyllids in France

Citation
Remenant et al. (2025). Microbiology Resource Announcements 14 (12)
Names
“Liberibacter solanacearum”
Abstract
ABSTRACT Five draft genome sequences of ‘ Candidatus Liberibacter solanacearum’ haplotype E from five different Bactericera trigonica vector insects sampled in France are reported. Each genome has a size of about 1.20 Mbp, a G + C content of 35% and approximately 1,000 predicted coding DNA sequences.

Candidatus Rickettsia mendelii has the smallest and most ancestral-like genome in the genus Rickettsia

Citation
Gotoh et al. (2025).
Names
Ca. Rickettsia mendelii
Abstract
Abstract Rickettsia species, which constitute obligate intracellular bacteria adapted to a host-dependent lifestyle, have traditionally been classified into four phylogenetic groups. However, the available genomes are biased toward the Typhus and Spotted Fever groups, with early-diverging Ancestral group (AG) lineages being underrepresented. Here, we isolated six Candidatus Rickettsia mendelii strains from
